Settled into the New Year…..

Dear Parents
We hope that you are now settled into the New Year. After our snow-delayed start to 2010, we are pleased to be back in our routines! Here at Cecil Square we are planning a major decoration and this will mean scaffolding going up in the front vestibule. Because of this, we will not be meeting on Friday 12th February.
We wanted to take the opportunity to let you know of some dates coming up over the next term or so – diaries fill up so quickly!
Sunday 7th Feb and March will be our monthly family and parade services, and we hope you will be able to join us.

Junior Fun and Competition Aftemoon -letters to follow
Saturday 3rd April This Easter Saturday will be the wedding here at Cecil Square of
Rachel Facey and Gary Mead.
Saturday 12th June Flag and publicity day at Westwood Cross
Saturday 19th June : Band have been asked to play at the Big Event Air Show
We will of course be arranging our camps for the summer – our Junior camp at a Church base, and our ‘senior camp on a ‘camp site. Forihose coming with us iD Firm Foundations, you need to confirm your place with Mr and Mrs Lane. In addition, for the 16 – 25 year olds we are planning to take part in EuroQuest on the 10th and 11th July. There will be separate letters for all these events.’
For our D of E group, as the days start to lighten Philip and Laura are planning some walking trips. If your child has an e-mail address it would be helpful to have that to confirm
arrangements, which are often weather dependant! .
Finally, can we just remind our senior group that their sessions don’t start until 6.30pm. A few young people have needed to make specific altemative arrangements with us which is fine, but otherwise if you could be ready to register for 6.30pm that would be helpful.
